Advanced Materials & Process Magazine has called Touchstone "One of the best equipped labs of its size in the country". Touchstone has over $10 million in test equipment ranging from electron microscopes to large tensile test frames.

Our in-house services include a complete machine shop for sample preparation plus several furnaces for heat treating specimens before testing. In addition, hundreds of fixtures are available for common and specialized tests.

We also pride ourselves on our people. Our team of experienced professionals includes: metallurgical, mechanical, aerospace, electrical, and chemical engineers; materials scientists; chemists; physicists; computer scientists; and microbiologists. One of our Senior Materials Scientists even wrote the book Structure and Properties of Engineering Materials.
