HEAT TREATMENT STUDIES

Touchstone is well equipped to perform heat treatment studies in virtually any material system. Studies have been performed for steel companies and aluminum companies with the goal of improving properties as well as improving manufacturing efficiencies and cost reduction. Carbon based products have been optimized through calcining and graphitization studies. Polymer systems have been studied with respect to changing properties with various environmental exposures including heat.
