HEAT TREATMENT STUDIES

Mechanical Testing at Elevated and Cryogenic Temperatures

Touchstone can perform virtually any mechanical testing at elevated and cryogenic temperatures. Special furnaces have been built to accommodate large 3 and 4 point bend tests. Fatigue, tensile, compression, and creep tests can be run up to 4500 deg F.

Touchstone regularly performs sample conditioning in various environments including variable temperature and humidity cabinets prior to mechanical testing.
